Simple & Effective

Measure, peel, press

  1. Measure and cut

Measure the post, step or sofa side, mark the outline on the liner and trim the sheet with sharp scissors.

  2. Peel and press

Clean and dry the surface, peel back the liner and press the carpet firmly from the center toward the edges.

  3. Secure and introduce

On scratching posts, add staples or tacks along the edges. Then guide your cat to the new surface with a wand toy.

03 /Refresh cat furniture

Give a worn scratching post a new surface

Wrap a frayed post or cover a bare step, then add staples along the edges for daily scratching. Replace the sheet once it looks worn.

Got Questions?

Before you cut and apply

The 11.8 x 39.4 in sheet (navy or black) suits scratching posts, steps and narrow sofa sides. The 23.6 x 23.6 in sheet (black) covers wider areas. Each order includes one sheet that you trim with scissors.

Apply it to clean, dry, smooth surfaces such as scratching posts, cat furniture steps, wood panels or the side of a sofa. It is not intended for walls. Test the adhesive on a small hidden area first, because some fabrics and finishes react differently to adhesive.

Wrap the sheet tightly around the post and press it firmly from the center toward the edges. For a post your cat scratches every day, add staples or upholstery tacks along the edges.

Peel it back slowly from one corner. How cleanly it comes off depends on the surface and how long it has been in place, so test a hidden spot first. Replace the sheet once the surface looks worn.
